About College

On the Borders of two villages namely VADANGE and NIGAVE(du) famous as Jaggary producing Home. Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha's one educational Institute called as "PRATAP JR.COLLEGE OF EDUCATION" doing a holy job of building a prospective teachers. This branch was established in June 1960 by PARAMPUJYA Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe.

While establishing this D.Ed. college there was lot of help from many native and other people. Out of them Sanstha's well-wisher Late Pratapsinh Chavan (Sarkar) helped to Bapuji's sacred work of education by giving alms of 2,80,000 sq. feet of Land without any interest.

So, in the grate memories of Late Pratapsinhbahaddar Chavan Bapuji named the institute as "PRATAP JR. COLLEGE OF EDUCATION"
